DOVE partners have met in Porto in the end of September
Dove project team
DOVE partners have met in
Porto in the end of September in a kick off meeting for the Project. During two
days, every partner had the opportunity to present documents and their ideas
about how to reach the project’s objectives.
The issues discussed in this
meeting were the following:
Financial;
Website presentation;
The best way to assess
domestic violence: methods and instruments appropriate to study this public
health problem;
The research protocol and
the sampling procedure in every country;
The policies and the practices
that exist in every country;
The best way to address
people involved in domestic violence (victims and aggressors).
Porto’s meeting was
extremely important to every researcher participating in DOVE. It helped them
to better define the main goals of the project and to clarify the best
directions to take in count in order to make DOVE an European reality.
